Laura George is a brilliant illustrator based in chicago Illinois. I came across her funky & cute drawings today while looking for new art inspiration & fell in love with the color scheme that unifies her work. Annie Kruyer is a south african woman, artist/photographer and owner of "Fine Heart Works" on etsy. Her photos are crisp and clean, sharp yet inviting. Opening her shop only earlier this year, I expect her to make many heads to turn before the year is out. I admire the balance of untouched earth to human emotion captured in her photograph, And I think everyone can appreciate that she is one of 'many now' photographers and artists taking advantage of product applications. Kim Baise is a quirky artists from california. Her truely unique mobiles and cute origami garlands have made her a familiar name on etsy.com. It must be so much fun making these funky mobiles. I can not sculpt.. or fold or glue. I have a portion control problem too. So I admire sculpture and the time it must take to perfect! . Elly Mackay is by far my favorite artist selling on etsy. She creates amazing portraits of journeys, and tender moments using a mini theater and lights. Fascinating. I would love to try it out one day. But for now, I like to just look at hers :) She sells prints of the scenes in her etsy shop which is fittingly called "theaterclouds". I found Jane heller browsing etsy, as i do every night after the kids fall asleep. The first picture I'd ever seen of hers was the little girl with a heart on her cheek.. It's no secret im a sucker for hearts.. Its my last name! But i was also drawn by the emotion in the picture. Somewhat dramatic lighting for such a delicate subject matter. It was beautiful, and when i ventured into her etsy shop i only found more to love. :) Reading her bio, ive learned she was a graphic design student... and it looks as though she's put it to good use now that she works shooting editorial work for multiple magazines! She lives in canada, and it looks as though it's a land of many muses. I think i might have to visit.
Wednesday morning. I feel refreshed! I was just browsing this girls photo shop on etsy and wanted to share it with you. Her name is erin johnson! Her etsy seller name is eireanneilis and her photos are bright and dreamy. My favorite thing about her is that she lives in alabama! I love alabama. I visited a rural area of the state for 2 weeks when i was 18. It's beautiful there. I love the simplicity of the place! Rolling hills, small homes, dirt roads and an abundance of weed flowers! What... i LOVE weed flowers, they are the best kind. Here's some pictures she's taken in and around her sweet home town in enterprise alabama, U.S.

Paper thin saga , a shop dedicated to the art of paper dolls. But not just any regular shmegular paperdolls... These are awesome and dark illustrations brought to life by shop owner Emma Klingbeil .. All works created in the midwest region of the US, where it must be pretty inspiring because I've discovered many gems from the area. Here's some of her art/product from her etsy shop. I love the looming feel, the quirky art of it, and the awkwardly cute smirks. Each with it's own story.. You can buy,and essemble them yourself, you can even purchase the backgrounds separately!

Look around in her shop to see more uniquely illustrated stories. These paper illustrations, complete with moving limbs and gloomy background props.. would look really cool in a shadow box with a neutral background. I think I'm going to make one myself! :)
