Ok. I have no furniture in my living room other then a toy story fold-able children's table with three Miss matched chairs. I got rid of my couch over a year ago after a spell of cut, bruises and one trip to the emergency room due to the children's "couch jumping" habits. It was bad.. two boys.. one couch.. and a hard floor. Well they are a bit older now, more disciplined and I am tired of sitting on floor pillows. Coincidentally, and unfortunately.. right when i decided I wanted to buy a couch.. my awesome and much loved 50s vintage table Ive owned for only 3 years.. broke! A leg fell off, and the table is so heavy that it is un fixable. I cant take a chance on it breaking again and falling on one of the kids.. seriously.. It is deadly heavy. So now i find my self redecorating at an odd time of year.. although it is helpful that this coincides with my march tax return.. :) Here's my soon to be new , affordable and comfortable living room.
I love binding blankets. Ive been obsessed since birth, when I was given one as a "welcome to the world, here's anise binding blanket" gift.
I chose this couch from Ikea. Just when I thought my Ikea days were over....I sat on this couch at the store and it is SO comfortable. I can't wait to watch movies, and snuggle with the kids on it.

Im going to use a vintage style pendant light to hang over my new eating table. I think I'm getting a bar height table with four tall chairs to tuck in the corner of my living room. Re designing is fun..
